The Map of Leonida: All Six Confirmed Regions
GTA 6 returns to a modern Vice City inside the all-new state of Leonida. Here's every confirmed region — from the Keys to Mount Kalaga — and how they fit together.
GTA 6 is set in Leonida, Rockstar’s reimagining of Florida, with a modern Vice City at its heart. Rockstar has officially pointed to six distinct regions, and together they make up what the studio calls its biggest, most detailed open world yet.
Vice City
The beating heart of the map and, by Rockstar’s framing, the most detailed city it has ever built. Expect Art Deco beachfronts, neon nightlife, dense downtown towers, the VC Port and waterfront luxury developments. Unlike the 1980s original, this Vice City is firmly present-day.
The Leonida Keys
A tropical archipelago off the southern coast — island-hopping, boats and laid-back coastal living. This is where Jason’s story begins.
Grassrivers
A rural region of wetlands and swampland. Think airboats, backroads and a very different pace from the city.
Port Gellhorn
A city in West Leonida with an industrial, working-waterfront feel — a contrast to Vice City’s glamour.
Ambrosia
A major city in central Leonida (Ambrosia County). One of the inland urban hubs that pushes the map well beyond a single coastline.
Mount Kalaga National Park
A sprawling national park on the northern border of the state — Rockstar’s nod to the wilderness and verticality fans loved in Red Dead Redemption 2.
How big is it?
Rockstar hasn’t given an exact figure, but community mapping projects using trailer coordinates and the 2022 development footage estimate Leonida is roughly 1.5x to 2x the size of GTA V’s Los Santos and Blaine County combined. Our interactive map will fill in as more is confirmed.
