GTA 6 Release Date: Everything Confirmed for November 19, 2026
Grand Theft Auto VI launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Here's the confirmed date, platforms, pre-order details and what we know about price and PC.
After years of anticipation, the wait finally has a finish line. Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. There is no PC version at launch.
Below is everything that’s officially locked in, plus the details that are still expectation rather than confirmation.
The release date
GTA 6 arrives Thursday, November 19, 2026 — a console-first launch on current-generation hardware only. Last-gen consoles (PS4, Xbox One) are not supported.
Platforms
- PlayStation 5 (and PS5 Pro)
- Xbox Series X and Series S
- PC — not at launch; historically Rockstar brings its games to PC roughly 12–18 months later
Pre-orders
Pre-orders begin June 25, 2026 across digital storefronts and select retailers. If you want a launch-day copy without scrambling, that’s the date to circle.
Price
Rockstar hasn’t officially confirmed pricing. Based on current AAA trends, expect the standard edition to land in the $70–$80 range, with premium editions priced above that. Treat any exact figure as an estimate until Rockstar says otherwise.
What about PC?
There’s no PC date yet. Going by GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, a PC port typically follows the console launch by a year or more — so mid-to-late 2027 or 2028 is the realistic window. We’ll update this guide the moment Rockstar confirms anything.
